Network files for Wired & Wireless
The Wired & Wireless service at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE provides students with secure access to personal files stored on the institute network.
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE students will be able to access their group drive and home drive folders.
What you need
What you need includes:

a laptop with a wireless card, connected to the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE wireless network and
-
the TConnect web page has been designed to assist students to connect to network drives and printers while using the wired and wireless network.
Access network drives
The TConnect web page is available on the Education networks using the following URL:
Education Network http://tconnect.student.tafe
Once you enter the TConnect website, log on using your fully qualified username.
Enter your network username and password in the format.
Username = "Username"@student.gcit.tafe (to connect to the Education network)
Password = Your network password
Refer to the user guide [PDF 1.01mb] to select location, map a drive and set up printer.
