Indigenous student support
An Indigenous Student Support Officer is available to support indigenous students enrolled with Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.
On-campus career and personal counselling and learning support are available to indigenous students.
Indigenous student support also includes:

Liaising with teachers on behalf of students

Referrals to other support services

Assistance with course and career options

Identifying specific requirements

Providing information on courses available

Supporting students during their studies

Assistance with work placement
