Gold Coast Institute of TAFE has close links with industry businesses to ensure that students receive the most relevant and up to date training. Students learn practical and client service skills in a real life environment at the Style Academy salons.
With an emphasis on quality training and service to clients the Style Academy operates out of Ashmore campus as a commercial salon to develop and showcase the varied talents of our hairdressing and beauty therapy students, under qualified supervisors.
To further develop their skills, beauty therapy students also attend block vocational placements at some of the best salons on the coast.
