Bakery
The bakery sells cakes, breads and some frozen meals made on-campus by our students. Products change daily and are modestly priced to fit anyone's budget. This is a training facility for our hospitality students and is open to the general public, staff and students at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.
Bistro
The Boulevard Bistro training bistro offers a range of quality meals, a well stocked bar and a variety of non alcoholic beverages. A popular lunchtime venue for small groups, you can sit in air-conditioned comfort or on our outdoor section overlooking the students' activities area. All meals are at a budget price.
Bookshop
For all your Gold Coast Institute of TAFE texts, the Student Bookshop is the source. Text books are available covering all academic curriculums.
The bookshop offers a wide variety of academic software for graphic design, multimedia, music, software development, 3D modelling and more.
The bookshop also stocks a full range of student stationery.

Computer and internet access
Students enrolled at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE can enjoy free computing and internet facilities. When you enrol at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE you are given log-in details to access student computers. Access is available at the Ashmore and Southport libraries/learn centres.

Please note that the use of computers is related to study at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. This includes access to email messages and internet. Any misuse of computer or electronic resources is considered to be an act of misconduct. This may mean the withdrawal of access to the resources, suspension or expulsion. Unlawful use of computing and/or electronic resources will lead to legal action being taken.
Any student misusing computer and electronic resources will immediately be required to log off and present their student ID card. Misuse will be referred to the appropriate director of faculty.

Common rooms
The Gold Coast Institute of TAFE provides common rooms for the exclusive use of students. Refrigerators, microwave ovens and hot water urns in the common rooms are available for use.
Student notice boards can also be found in the common rooms, these are for student use. Gold Coast Institute of TAFE takes no responsibility for the notices on the boards.

Hairdressing and beauty therapy
Enjoy a professional hairdressing or beauty therapy treatment at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE Style Academy. Staff, students and members of the general public are welcome.
Library
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE's libraries, also known as Learn Centres, are located at the Ashmore, Coolangatta and Southport campuses.
Our Learn Centres provide a range of services to help you succeed in your studies at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.

Massage and naturopathy services
The Academy of Natural Therapies offers homeopathy, naturopathy and massage clinics to the general public, staff and students enrolled at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.
Parking and public transport
Parking
Free on-site parking is available at the Ashmore, Ridgeway and Coolangatta campuses. On-site parking is also available at the Southport campus at a small charge.
There are parking spaces at all campuses for people who have the Queensland Transport Disability Parking Permit. If you need to use one of these parking spaces on a temporary basis, please speak to the disability officer at Student Services.
Cars parked illegally will be towed away at the owner's expense. Please read the conditions of entry when entering the campus carparks.
Public transport
Public buses operate to the campuses from all areas of the Gold Coast.
Full-time students with the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE will recieve a discount for travel on buses and trains when presenting their student card.

Restaurant
The Visions fine dining a la carte training restaurant offers a great value range of new and exciting culinary delights. This restaurant can be booked for functions, birthdays, anniversaries, cocktail parties, conferences and meetings. We are fully licensed for your convenience. Staff, students and members of the general public are welcome.
Security
As a student enrolled at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE you can be assured of a security presence on all campuses.
Security officers are employed by Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. They complete foot patrols, escort persons to cars and generally provide assistance where required. As a student enrolled at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE you can ask for their assistance by referring to security contact numbers for your campus.
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE does not accept responsibility for the loss of personal possessions. Students are therefore urged to take suitable precautions to protect your personal belongings.
