Schools direct entry and scholarship program
Apply for a guaranteed place in a diploma or advanced diploma level course with Gold Coast Institute of TAFE through our Direct Entry and Scholarship Program.
The Direct Entry program has allowed Nikki Rutland, 17-year-old kayaker and former Palm Beach Currumbin High School student, to spend 36 hours a week in intensive training as well as studying full-time for a Diploma of Fitness at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.

You are guaranteed entrance into our diploma and advanced diploma level courses when you are selected through the Direct Entry and Scholarship program.
The Direct Entry and Scholarship program is exclusive to Gold Coast year 12 students.
The program recognises that you may be well suited to a particular course and offers a direct place. The Direct Entry and Scholarship Program allows you to apply for entry to a course without using your OP score. Instead, it focuses on your personal attributes and your suitability to a particular course you are interested in.
A number of scholarships are made available each year. The scholarship covers all courses fees and the scholarship student receives $500 credit at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE Student Bookshop towards books and learning materials.
Applications close in September each year.

any other skills that are relevant to the subject field of the diploma
