Productivity Places

Productivity Places funding can pay for specific courses at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. 

New training places are available to help you find a job through the Australia Government's Productive Placement Program. The funding is designed to assist with training opportunities for Australians looking for work.

An eligibility criteria applies - learn more about the voucher by visiting the Productivity Places website or the Department of Education and Training website.

What course can you use the Productivity Places funding for?

 Course name Course description 
Certificate II in Hairdressing This pre-apprenticeship training program is designed for people seeking a career in hairdressing or beauty therapy.
Certificate III in Children's Services Certificate III in Children's Services is the first step in a career in Early Childhood.
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance This program covers workers in a range of work roles who provide assistance to health professional staff with the care of clients. Health Services Assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision.
Certificate III in Horticulture This course provides you with a range of theoretical and practical skills as well as experience in horticultural practices which will enable you to perform the various work functions in the Nursery and Parks and Gardens industries.
Certificate III in Tourism (Retail Travel Sales)

This course is designed for people wanting to gain employment in the travel industry or wishing to gain comprehensive operational skills relevant to the travel and tourism industry.

Certificate III in Aged Care Work Designed to introduce the knowledge, skills and values that promote quality care, this nationally accredited course/qualification enables you to perform a range of duties as a personal carer within the community and residential aged care facilities.
