International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE is the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Examination Centre for the Gold Coast region in the South Eastern corner of Queensland, Australia.
The test is available at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE's Southport Campus twice per month.
IELTS assesses the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
IELTS is accepted by employers and universities in many countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is accepted by immigration authorities, government agencies and other professional bodies.
IELTS is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP:IELTS Australia. IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment.
