Accommodation in and around the Gold Coast is available in many forms.
Share accommodation is plentiful. There are many students who are looking for share-mates and you can expect to pay between AU$100 and AU$150 per person per week for share accommodation, depending on location, number of people sharing, and the facilities.
For the more independent at heart, there is also a vast choice of housing for rent. From one bedroom apartments through to water-front homes with spectacular views, there is something available for every budget and taste.
Backpacker hostels are becoming a popular choice for many international travellers. They are great places to meet and mix with people from different cultures and walks of life. For international students homestay is a great way to experience the Australian way of life. You will live with a local Australian family and have the opportunity to practice your English skills as well as gaining a greater understanding of the unique Australian culture.
For international students airport receptions can be arranged to meet you on arrival at either Brisbane International or Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airports.
