How to enrol

Enrol into an online English language course with Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.

You are eligible if you are:

Japanese or Vietnamese and living outside of Australia or
a Japanese or Vietnamese company with students who will complete the training.

Please email our team if you are interested in our courses and are from another country.

Payment is required by credit card to confirm your enrolment. Credit cards accepted are American Express, Mastercard or Visa.

Follow the steps below.

Register for online enrolment
- Complete and submit the Personal Details form if you are a Japanese or Vietnamese person enrolling in a course.
- Complete and submit the Company Details form if you are a Japanese or Vietnamese company with students who will complete the training.
- You will receive your User ID and password for enrolment via email within 48 hours.
Log on to the TAFE Queensland Student Self-Service website
- Enter the User ID and password supplied via email.
- Click on the checkbox to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Change your password
- You will be prompted to change your password for security purposes.
- Passwords must follow these conventions:
  - Must contain at least one non-alphabetic character (e.g. number 0 - 9)
  - Must contain at least one alphabetic character (A - Z, a - z)
  - Must be at least six characters long
  - Must not be a recently used password
  - Must not be a common word
  - Must not be a basic sequence of numbers or letters (e.g. 123 or abc) and
  - Cannot contain any symbols.
Enrol
- Click on 'My Enrolment'. This will open the Enrolment Assistant advising you will require the Delivery Package and payment. Click 'continue'.
- You will be required to confirm your personal details. Click 'confirm' to continue. Please note that a 'Term address' has been entered for the duration of your study with Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. Please do not change this address.
- Enter the Delivery Package number. Click 'continue'.
- Select the classes you wish to enrol in. Click 'continue'.
- To nominate your Study Reason select 'Personal'.
- Confirm your class selection. Your total enrolment fees are displayed.
- Enrolment results are displayed.Click on 'Finalise enrolment' to proceed to the payment screen.
Pay by credit card
- Select the type of credit card you are using to pay. Click 'continue' to proceed to the secure site for payment.
- Enter your credit card details and click 'continue'.
- If your payment has been successful the TAFE Queensland receipt number is displayed. Click 'continue'.
Generate Confirmation of Enrolment
- This can be printed or emailed to your nominated email address.
Orientation
- You will receive an e-mail within 48 hours including details of User Name, Password and instructions on starting and using your online English course.
