Advanced Vocationally Oriented Courses (AVOC)
Vocational focus
This program is provided by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations for migrants who have registered with Centrelink as jobseekers and who have been assessed as having an advanced level of English.
Requirements and conditions include:

For non-English speaking background students only

Up to 400 hours of English language training for eligible clients

No cost for eligible participants

Advanced English combined with computer training and first aid. (Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English Levels IV - Further Education or Jobseeking)

How to apply
1. Make an appointment for an interview at Southport campus.
2. If assessed at the Advanced level of English register with Centrelink as a jobseeker and request a referral to the LLNP program.
