Industry reference group
In line with the spirit of the development of the nationally recognised training packages and as part of the Quality Assurance process at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE, we actively seek the involvement of local employers and industry groups in the delivery of our training.
Industry Reference Groups meet within each faculty at least once per semester to interact with delivery staff; provide specific feedback on a variety of areas including delivery and assessment methods; and to assist us in ensuring we keep abreast of current and likely future workplace trends.
The Industry Reference Group meetings also provide a great opportunity for networking between employers from the same industry.
Sourcing and acting upon Industry Reference Group feedback is vital in ensuring Gold Coast Institute of TAFE continues to provide quality outcomes for both students and employers.
