Gold Coast Institute of TAFE offers the opportunity for high school students in year 10, 11 and 12 to attend Gold Coast Institute of TAFE one day per week during the school term over 2 years to complete Certificate II or III training programs. New guide will be release in May 2008.

Recognition of prior learning
RPL is one way you can have your current skills and knowledge assessed to see how they meet today's industry standards. Recognition of prior learning assessment acknowledges your skills and knowledge, no matter how, when or where your learning occurred.
RPL could provide you with a full or part qualification. It could also be used to identify what training you may need to complete a qualification. So take some time out and fill out the RPL form [PDF 111kb] and return it to GCIT. Alternatively you can contact our RPL Coordinator on (07) 55 818 744 or email RPLCoordinator.GCIT@deta.qld.gov.au to arrange an interview with an RPL Assessor experienced in your industry.

All assignment work must include an assignment cover sheet with all section of the form completed prior to submission by the due date. If all sections of the cover sheet are not correctly completed, your assignment will not be accepted.
