Marketing and Business Development

The Marketing and Business Development department is located at the Southport campus of the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. Its aim is to promote the institute as a centre for educational excellence by way of promotion, publicity, advertising and client liaison.

The Gold Coast Institute of TAFE's vision 'to produce highly skilled graduates who make a difference' has proved to be enduring and motivating, and is now embedded throughout the organisation and is a major driving force in the Marketing and Business Development department.

The department comprises four distinct areas:

Business Development
Marketing
Client Services and Enrolments
Public Relations

Business Development

Both domestic and international sales activities are managed by this department. Gold Coast TAFE offers a dedicated team to assist the individual leaner, industry and employers access effective training solutions.

Marketing

Gold Coast Institute of TAFE undertakes market research to determine that we are continuing to develop products that meet the needs of our community, and that we address the demographic and industry needs of our growing city.

The data we gather provides us with the evidence to make changes to current courses and implement the new and innovative courses that continue to build our reputation as a leader in the provision of quality vocational training.

We are happy to work collaboratively with industry and community on research projects that will assist us in providing relevant industry training for the community of the Gold Coast.

Production of all Marketing collateral is managed from this department.

Client Services and Enrolments

The Gold Coast Institute of TAFE strives to exceed client expectations when providing course and enrolment information to both local and international students.

Our Customer Service Centre is focused on providing you with the assistance and information you need to ensure that you make the right decision about your future. Our courses are designed to improve your career pathway and enhance your learning potential.

Public Relations

Public Relations is a diverse area within the Institute, and is responsible for such activities as news and media communications, event management and promotions.

All news and media outlets are invited to liaise with our Public Relations personnel if there is a news story or topic of interest that you would like to cover at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.
