Annual report 2008-2009
The Gold Coast Institute of TAFE became an independent statutory authority in Queensland's TAFE network on 1 July 2008. As a statutory authority, GCIT is required to produce an Annual Report each financial year.
GCIT's first Annual Report as a statutory TAFE institute has been prepared in accordance with the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 and the Financial Management Standard 1997. It fulfils the reporting requirement to the Minister for Education and Training and provides a summary of the Institute's operations and achievements during 2008-09. It outlines the Institute's performance against the key objectives as identified in the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE Strategic Plan 2008-11.
